Wonderful You

You know you're not as wonderful
 As they say you are,
And you wish that they'd quit it.
Can't they see that it's your life,
And they don't have to live it?
All they see's the smiles
 And the sunshine;
They don't notice the scars
 And bruises like a punchline.
They don't know you're hurting;
They can't tell you're breaking
From the inside out.
They all wish they could be you,
'Cuz you're so wonderful;
They can't even imagine
What they'd do
Without Wonderful You.

You know you're not as wonderful
As they say you are;
You believe they're jsut teasing.
Can't they see your brain is broke,
And that your heart is bleeding?
All they see's your kind-hearted actions;
They don't notice all the guilt
And dissatisfaction.
They don't know you're lying;
They can't tell you're dying
From the inside out.
They all want to be like you,
'Cuz you're so wonderful;
They should start considering
What they'd do
Without Wonderful You.
