Keep It To Yourself (With a lenghthy but worthwhile introduction)

 Dear celebrities who are in danger of heading down the wrong path... I wrote this for you. Because you don't need alcohol, drugs, sleazy clothes, sex - name your poison -to be... amazing. You won't find yourself by acting like every other celebrity who's ever... well, pretty much every other celebrity ever. You won't find yourself at the bottom of a bottle, or the end of a smoke. You won't find yourself in someone else. Whoever you were before you got famous is who you really are. I understand that the press of crowds who both love you and hate you can push you almost to breaking point, but you don't have to break. There are better ways to deal with it. Hobbies. Charity. Friendship.
 The people who try to please the secular crowd are not the ones girls like me look up to. They're not the ones we consider role models. So if you want to be a role model, if you want to be looked up to, if you want to be loved... please, just... think twice, okay?
  And PS, you won't get your "lost childhood" back by breaking the law or taking full advantage of the fact that your twenty-one. Actually, I don't understand that; that's about as backward as it gets. If you feel like you missed out on your childhood, do the things you would have gotten to do; you can still read children's literature, you can still watch Disney movies, you can still ride your bike, you can still swing, you can still play Barbies or action figures... You don't need hallucinogens to pretend you're a child. And unlike alcohol and drugs, watching Disney movies etc. etc. won't hurt you or anyone else.
 +Emma Watson , I don't know if you'll read this post or care, but you're the real reason I'm writing this. There's a quote from you on Goodreads, BTW: “I find the whole concept of being ‘sexy’ embarrassing and confusing. If I do an interview with photographs people desperately want to change me - dye my hair blonder, pluck my eyebrows, give me a fringe. Then there’s the choice of clothes. I know everyone wants a picture of me in a mini-skirt. But that’s not me. I feel uncomfortable. I’d never go out in a mini-skirt. It’s nothing to do with protecting the Hermione image. I wouldn’t do that. Personally, I don’t actually think it’s even that sexy. What’s sexy about saying, ‘I’m here with my boobs out and a short skirt, have a look at everything I’ve got?’ My idea of sexy is that less is more. The less you reveal the more people can wonder.”
Emma Watson
  You did say that, didn't you? I looked up to you, then. I thought you were amazing. In fact, I looked up to you and thought you were amazing pretty much until I read the article/interview about/with you in "Elle" and looked into the "Noah" movie you were just in. Maybe you don't care about my opinion... but I haven't given up. I'm still hoping THAT you might come back...?
  Sorry everyone... back to the song...

Well, all the young boys,
You know they wanna know
Your secret.
But you can't get it back
Once you give it away.
Sometimes you're tempted
Just toe let 'em see it,
But you know that you're gonna
Need it someday.
Oh, please, girl, don'tcha
Let them fool ya;
You know that to them
You're just another game.
I know you just want
Someone to love ya,
But trust me, girl,
Those boys don't want
The same.
So keep it to yourself,
You keep it to yourself,
Just keep it to yourself
For now, girl.
Just keep it to yourself,
You keep it to yourself,
Just keep it to yourself
For now, gir-g-g-g-g-girl.

All the pretty young things
Line up, trying to get
Your attention.
They want your autograph,
And they want your
Secret to go.
By the way they act,
Well, you might start to think
That they need ya,
But fame like yours,
Well, you know it comes
And it goes.
You want someone
To be your best friend
Forever,
But all these girls are just
Your not-so-loyal fans.
So, girl, don'tcah let them in
On your little secret;
These groupies of yours,
They could never really understand.
So keep it to yourself,
You keep it to yourself,
Just keep it to yourself
For now, girl.
Just keep it to yourself,
You keep it to yourself,
Just keep it to yourself
For now, girl.
So keep it to yourself,
Just keep it to yourself,
You keep it to yourself
For now, girl.
You keep it to yourself,
Just keep it to yourself,
You keep it to yourself
For now, gir-g-g-g-g-girl.

Material Things

Well, you're just another man;
Maybe I'm just another girl.
You say you're falling for me,
And maybe you rock my world.
But what difference does it make?
Who gave us the right to love?
Who even know what it is?
Some say it's never enough.
Maybe you just wanna feel
Someone else's skin,
And I don't know what I want,
So should I just give in?
But no, I could stand that-
You get your high, and it ends?
I could never go back,
To being just friends.
But I don't want
What you don't need;
I've got no use for all these
Material Things.
Material Things...
You complain about me
When I'm not around;
My friends complain about you
When we go to town.
They say you're wrong for me,
And I say that I know,
But so is everyone else,
So why should I go?
Oh, and I cry for you,
When you aren't here to see,
'Cause you have all your friends
Who all hate me.
You call up and say
Only you can complain,
'Cause I'm not their girl,
So they don't get a say.
But I don't want
What you don't need;
I've got no use for all these
Material Things.
No, I don't want what you've got
If you can just give it away;
I've got no use for all these
Material Things.
No, I don't really want
All the junk that you don't need,
And you may want to hold me,
But first you must see,
I don't really care for these
Material Things.
All these Material Things...

Sin Again

I just know I'm gonna sin again,
I'll sin again,
I never win.
I just know I'm gonna sin again,
Hurt you again,
Give in again.
I'll apologize now
Rather than too late;
I know it's my fault,
So I can't just wait.
I just know I'm gonna sin again,
I'll sin again,
I'll sin again,
My friend.
I just know I'm gonna sin again,
I'll sin again,
I'll sin again,
Again,
Again.
I just know I'm gonna give in again,
Fail you again,
Break the rules again.
I just know I'm gonna sin again,
I'll sin again,
I'll sin again,
Again,
Again.
I just know I'm gonna sin again,
I'll sin again,
I just know.

Don't Say You Love Me (Two Versions)

 (Naina-Bird, this is the song I need your advice on!)

Version #1:
You could be my third mistake;
The wrong three words
Are all it takes.
I know from the past
Sometimes it pays to wait,
So I've gotta ask you
Before it's too late:
Don't say you love me,
Don't say you love me,
Don't say you love me
'Til you know you do.
Don't say you need me,
Don't say you need me,
Don't say you need me
'Til you think it through.

Just think about our friendship;
How strong is it?
Think about it;
Could some pretty face
Come along and break it?
If so, let's not take it
Too seriously.
Don't say you love me,
Don't say you love me,
Don't say you love me
'Til you know you do.
Don't say you need me,
Don't say you need me,
Don't say you need me
'Til you think it through.

Don't give me any kisses,
Any roses,
Any promise;
Don't give me a ring
That doesn't mean a thing.
Wait 'til you know for sure,
Or don't say a thing.
Don't say you love me,
Don't say you love me,
Don't say you love me
'Til you know you do.
Don't say you need me,
Don't say you need me,
Don't say you need me
'Til you think it through.

Version #2:

You could be my third mistake;
The wrong three words
Are all it takes.
I know from the past
Sometimes it pays to wait,
So I've gotta ask you
Before it's too late:
Don't say you love me,
Don't say you love me,
Don't say you love me
'Til you know you do.
Don't say you need me,
Don't say you need me,
Don't say you need me
'Til you think it through.

Look at* our relationship;
How strong is it?
Think about it;
Could some pretty face
 Come along and break it?
If so, let's not take it
Too seriously.
Don't say you love me,
Don't say you love me,
Don't say you love me
'Til you know it's true.
If you could leave me,
If you could leave me,
Don't say you need me;
No, that just won't do.

Don't give me any kisses,
Any roses,
Any promise;
Don't give me a ring
That doesn't mean a thing.
Wait 'til you know for sure,
Or don't say a thing.
Don't say you love me,
Don't say you love me,
Don't say you love me
'Til you know you do.
Don't say you need me,
Don't say you need me,
Don't you marry me
'Til you think it through.

I Didn't Know

No one taught me how to love,
No one told me what love is,
So when I found out he loved me
I told him I loved him.
I didn't know;
Oh, but I didn't know.
I thought if he loved me
Then I must love him back.
I thought he'd teach me something;
Thought he was all I had.
I didn't know;
Oh, but I didn't know.
Well, now I feel more lonely
Than I ever thought I could.
I still haven't learned what love was
Like I thought I would.
I still don't know;
Oh, but I still don't know.
He didn't break my heart;
I broke it breaking his.
When I pictured love, well,
It never looked like this. *
I didn't know;
Oh, but I didn't know.
Boy, I'm sorry for my lying,
And for not loving you.
I'm sorry for my leaving,
But what else could I do?
I didn't know;
Oh, but I didn't know.
They say careful what you wish for,
'Cause it just might come true.
I wished someone would love me,
But I didn't love you.
I didn't know;
Oh, but I didn't know.
I didn't know;
Oh, but I didn't know.
I'm sorry, oh,
But I still don't know.

* I never pictured this?
