Not Every Song

< As promised. To guys I know who I've become great just-friends with, despite all odds and past experiences. I know this is not well written, and not as complimentary, perhaps, as it could be, but I mean absolutely no offense. >

Not every song,
Has to be a love song.
This one's just about,
Two friends mocking the world together.
Not every song,
Has to be a love song.
Not every boy and girl,
Have to vow forever.
Some want to be just friends,
And that's okay.
Sometimes it might feel,
A little hard, a little strange.
Some people might point;
Just ignore the things they say.
It's not something you can plan,
It's not something you can prearrange;
You just have to stumble through,
When it gets hard.
You'll do the best you can,
If you just be who you are.
Not every song,
Has to be a love song.
This one's just about,
Two friends mocking the world together.
Not every song,
Has to be a love song.
Not every boy and girl,
Have to vow forever.
Some want to be just friends,
And that's okay.
Sometimes it might feel,
A little hard, a little strange,
But when I think about it,
I know I'm lucky, and I'm glad,
To have so many "just-friends",
Who are boys, and not half bad.

We Are Just Friends

< I got a little tired of love songs... But this one is slightly depressing at the end, so I have another song coming to make up for that, ALSO not a love song. :) And no, I know no one named Paige, but it rhymed. >

We never talked on the phone,
I never sent you a card,
You never caught me alone,
Though it wasn't hard,
'Cause we were just friends.
We were just friends.

We turned sixteen,
And nothing changed;
I didn't get mad,
When you dated Paige,
'Cause we were just friends.
We were just friends.

Ooh, and I really mean it now;
Isn't that what it's all about?
Ooh, and I never tried,
So please tell me this is not goodbye,
And we are still friends,
We are still just friends.

Then you turned eighteen,
And you bought a ring,
But it wasn't for her;
You were so confusing,
'Cause we were just friends.
We were just friends.

I told you no,
And you got mad,
So I said that you'd,
Have to talk to Dad,
'Cause we were just friends.
We were just friends.

Ooh, and I really mean it now;
Isn't that what it's all about?
Ooh, and I never tried,
So please tell me this is not goodbye,
And we are still friends,
We are still just friends.

Ooh, and I really mean it now;
I don't know what you're talking 'bout.
Ooh, and I said I'd never try,
But please tell me this is not goodbye,
And we are still friends,
We are still just friends.
'Cause we are best friends,
But we are just friends,
And we are still friends,
But we are just friends.

Ooh, and I really mean it now;
Isn't that what it's all about?
Ooh, and I never tried,
So please tell me this is not goodbye,
And we are still friends,
We are still just friends.

Do You Remember?

< This song is actually about... no one. >

We used to be three,
You and me,
Do you remember?
Do you remember?
You played Captain Fuzz,
And I played Polka Dot Girl,
We always said,
That we would save the world,
Do you remember?
Do you remember?
REFRAIN:
When we got older,
All our dreams changed,
And that turned out,
To be okay,
But please tell me,
You still remember;
Do you remember?
I still remember;
Do you remember me?

Then we turned five,
Through the world of time,
Do you remember?
Do you remember?
When your daddy died,
And we both cried,
'Cause he was the dad,
I never had.
Do you remember?
Do you remember?
REFRAIN

We turned fourteen,
You said someday you'd marry me,
Do you remember?
Do you remember?
We'd stay up talking late at night,
Trying to prove we'd never fight,
But it got the best of us,
And proved us wrong.
Do you remember?
Do you remember?
REFRAIN

We hardly talk anymore,
Something I try to ignore,
But I remember,
I still remember.
We still claim to be friends,
But we work towards opposite ends,
Just trying to avoid,
Doing it again.
But I remember,
I still remember.
REFRAIN

REFRAIN

REFRAIN

et cetera, fade.

Bugs

< You really don't want to know... but I'll tell you anyway! Alena Grobien  and I were sorting stickers at a get together, and I found a ton of bug stickers. So I randomly started singing, and she insisted I write it down. Here is the result! >

I've got a wide variety of bugs;
I've got ants and I've got slugs.
Despite what you may think I'm not on drugs,
I've just got a wide variety of stupidity;
I know that you're jealous of me.
'Cause I've got a wide variety of bugs;
I've got ants, butterflies, beetles, and slugs.
No, I'm not on drugs,
I've just got a wide variety of stupidity,
I know that you must envy me,
'Cause I've got class, I've got style,
And I've got a smile that goes on for miles,
But most of all I've got bugs!
