In A Mason Jar

In the heat of the Summer,
When I was young,
Mama used to can peaches,
And out ev'ryone,
In a Mason Jar,
In a Mason Jar,
In a Mason Jar;
Country Folks know,
Anything can go,
In a Mason Jar.
We were sitting on the porch,
Drinking root beer,
When to my surprise I found,
And engagement ring,
In a Mason Jar,
In a Mason Jar,
In a Mason Jar;
Country folks know,
Anything can go,
In a Mason Jar.
I walked down the aisle next year,
In a white dress,
Holding a big pink boquet,
Fresh from the garden,
In a Mason Jar,
In a Mason Jar,
In a Mason Jar;
Country folks know,
Anything can go,
In a Mason Jar.
An old lady staring up,
At an old shelf,
Covered with happy mem'ries,
All covered with dust,
In a Mason Jar,
In a Mason Jar,
In a Mason Jar;
Country folks know,
Anything can go,
In a Mason Jar.

In a Mason Jar,
In a Mason Jar,
Country folks know,
Anything can go,
In a Mason Jar.

In a Mason Jar,
In a Mason Jar,
Country folks know,
Anything can go,
In a Mason Jar.

Anything can go,
In a Mason Jar.
